ORGANIZACIÓN HAZ LA DIFERENCIA, (OHLD) is a non-profit organization. Founded by Emma Salamanca in 2004, OHLD is out to Make a Difference in children's lives around the world! We want to make a difference in every child's life and improve their means to obtain education; to enable them to create a better life for themselves. We started in Mexico with orphans and homeless children. We will continue with this mission throughout the world. This dream will be possible, if we each make a little difference in each child's life. We can help to care for neglected and abused children and help improve their education, as well as, help them build spiritual life skills.

OUR MAIN GOAL

We support 2 orphanages in Baja, Mexico with contributions given directly to our organization, sponsorships and funds raised through fundraisers. Our mission is to help children to have improved education and build positive spiritual life skills. There is nothing more important than to help prepare our children for a bright and successful future.

MISSION

ORGANIZACIÓN HAZ LA DIFERENCIA, ("Make a Difference"), Mission is to provide educational and charitable assistance to children living in orphanages and children's homes around the world. To accomplish this, ORGANIZACIÓN HAZ LA DIFERENCIA hosts various fundraising events. In 2011 we have programmed Several Motivational Seminars and Live performances by such artist as Ivann. One of our main fundraising events in the past has been our Summer Shoot-Out Charity Golf Tournament . Next year's tournament is being programmed for June 2012 at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Orange County, CA. Join us in improving the lives of the next generation of children at Orphanage Estado 29 and Miracle Ranch Children's Home in Baja, Mexico by participating in our future fundraising events.

SPECIFICS:

ORGANIZACIÓN HAZ LA DIFERENCIA (OHLD) or Make a Difference Organization, was formed in 2004 to raise funds and support for the children of Baja, Mexico. Many of these children are not only orphans, but some are left to see their families unable to give them an opportunity at schooling, which will make a difference in their lives. With your help, we can make sure they receive this much needed opportunity. We help improve their schools and join efforts with other organizations to bring them much needed motivational tools to create dreams in lives that would otherwise not dare to dream.

Many of these children are found living on the streets, while many find a home with a caring family. Unfortunately, these families are unable to provide for these children without some assistance. Mexico does not count with a welfare or foster care system, so orphanages must seek their own support, in part from organizations like OHLD.

OHLD provides funds, through fundraisers to make some of these much needed possibilities happen for the children.
